Gosh, the faces you used; it was HELARIOUS!!!! I had to read a second time to understand the puns more. I love your drawing style, and I mainly love your expressions, especially Pinkie's at panel 9 when she made the joke about the roll. If I get a reply, I will go see more of your comics and comment on each of em'. It's a system I do know sense I can't use a 'Watch Later' like on FIMfiction or Youtube. Anyway, love your comment, can't wait to see more! (Edit) Oi, by the way, try reading this comic with this song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM3kl6… It made the comic SO much more fun to read then it already was!
haha, thank you but I was already approached by the PPT to use my comics on the Tumblr quite a while ago (close to over a year ago). Was never asked to join but I don't think I would anyway for my own reasons.
Well there are a lot of puns/word-play going on. Like Pinkie is driving a vehicle that looks like the vegetable "lettuce" so when the little ponies say 'let us in', 'let us' run together sounds like 'lettuce', which is supposed to be funny.
When Pinkie says 'how did you ketchup to me', it is supposed to be another food joke, because 'ketchup' sounds close to the phrase 'catch up'.
When she says her watch 'went back 4 seconds', it is supposed to be funny because while a watch can literally lose 4 seconds of time, it reminds people of when they're eating a meal, and after the meal they're still hungry, so they go get more food, or rather, they go back "for seconds".
Pinkie is proud of herself for making so many puns so quickly, so she pulls out a bread roll, and says she's 'on a roll', as in she's really good at continuing the jokes.
The young ponies are trying to get her to stop, not just because they think the jokes are bad, but also because Pinkie's not listening to their warning that she is about to fall off the cliff.
When Pinkie's "lettuce" car crashes, she jokes about it having become a "squash" because in the crash it would've become crumpled, and therefore resembled the food "squash" as opposed to "lettuce".
I guess it's not outright funny, but everyone's sense of humor is a little different.
